Frequently asked questions
Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about the Enbio PRO sterilizer
Does Enbio PRO meet the requirements of sanitary authorities?
Yes, Enbio PRO is a Class B medical steam sterilizer and complies with applicable U.S. requirements for sterilization of medical and dental instruments. The device meets FDA regulations for steam sterilizers. Its use ensures that instruments are properly sterilized and safe for patient use.
Enbio PRO is designed to meet the sanitary and regulatory standards required in the United States. This allows owners of medical offices, dental practices, tattoo studios, and cosmetology salons to operate in compliance with federal and state regulations, making inspections and regulatory reviews straightforward and stress-free.
When is it a good idea to use the 250°F sterilization cycle?
The lower-temperature sterilization cycle (250°F / 121°C) is designed for more delicate instruments that may be damaged at standard sterilization temperatures (273°F / 134°C). It is particularly useful for materials that are more sensitive to high heat, such as certain autoclavable plastic components.
This cycle is commonly used for sterilizing silicon tools and dental and cosmetic instruments - for example, microdermabrasion tips, tools used in the PMU (permanent makeup) and tattoo industries, and in some cosmetic applications (e.g., sterilization of brushes or similar small accessories).
How are sterilization processes stored?
The Enbio PRO autoclave records all sterilization processes in the my.Enbio App, eliminating the need for paper printouts. Unlike autoclaves from other brands, most of which print confirmations on built-in thermal papers prone to abrasion, Enbio provides permanent and easily accessible records. As a result, there is no risk of losing sterilization evidence, avoiding problems during sanitary inspections.
What is the difference between the Enbio PRO autoclave and the Enbio S?
Enbio PRO and Enbio S are advanced Class B steam sterilizers that differ not only in capacity, but also in functionality to meet different user needs.
Main Differences:
Twice the capacity
Enbio PRO features a 5.3-liter sterilization chamber, while Enbio S offers 2.7 liters. This allows the PRO to process two times more input than the S, such as implant cassete or surgical cassettes.
Slightly longer cycle time
Due to its larger chamber capacity, FAST cycle time in the Enbio PRO is slightly longer compared to the Enbio S.
Both have full class b cycle in just 15 minutes. However, both models remain among the fastest steam sterilizers available on the market.
Shared Advanced Features
In addition to these differences, both devices offer the same advanced features that make them efficient and convenient for everyday use:
Lower-temperature sterilization (250°F / 121°C)
Allows safe sterilization of delicate instruments that could be damaged at standard sterilization temperatures (273°F / 134°C).
Energy-saving mode
The device automatically enters sleep mode when not in use, reducing power consumption.
Multiple users with individual PIN codes
Each user can have a separate account secured with a unique PIN, allowing for controlled access and easy tracking of sterilization cycles.
Automated Vacuum Test and Bowie-Dick Test scheduling
Tests can be scheduled in advance so the sterilizer is ready for operation before the workday begins.
